973 New Coronavirus Cases In Kentucky Reported Saturday Sept. 26

In a taped video message, Governor Beshear reported 973 new Covid-19 cases in Kentucky Saturday.  Of that total, 132 cases were found in children 18 and under.  The yougest reported case was a two month old infant.  Five new deaths were also reported bringing the state's death toll from the virus to 1,154.  The state's positivity rate is 4.42%.

The reported new cases over the past six days, Beshear said put Kentucky on pace to have the highest number of reported coronavirus cases in a given week.  "We simply have to do better," said Beshear.
