Anti-Corruption Summit Planned in Northern Kentucky

courier-journal.com

Kentucky state auditor Adam Edelen plans to hold a summit in northern Kentucky to address corruption after a multitude of cases in the area. The Kentucky Enquirer reports that Edelen plans to speak with public and local elected leaders about how to catch the misuse of public funds. The visit on Oct. 15 comes on the heels of at least four public officials in northern Kentucky cities being accused of misspending funds. Edelen said the summit will aim to inform and brainstorm ways to catch fraud early.
