A woman who helped put a Letcher County deputy in prison for sexually abusing women in home detention told investigators she saw a video of Judge Kevin Mullins having sex with a woman in his office. Sabrina Adkins was questioned by detectives with the state Attorney General’s Office and said a man named Chad Brown showed her the video.

“Why would he have a video of the judge having sex with somebody?”

“He’s got several. I don't know how he got them. I didn't ask. I know too much over there, and that is a dirty place. I try not to know.”

Three days after Stines was deposed in a civil lawsuit alleging Deputy Ben Fields sexually abused women in home detention, Stines allegedly murdered Mullins in the judge’s chambers.

The AG detectives interviewed Adkins, one of the plaintiffs in a lawsuit against the Sheriff’s Office, after the suit was filed.

“Who was having sex?”

“Ben and just some higher ups.”

“Who?”

“The judge, and …”

“You saw the video, what did you see on the video? I mean, you …”

“I mean, I've seen Judge Mullins having sex with a girl.”

Adkins said she didn’t know the woman. Fields is in prison and Stines is in jail with no bond, charged with murder of a public official.
