During Wednesday afternoon’s coronavirus update Governor Andy Beshear announced 796 new cases of coronavirus in Kentucky, bringing the state total to 63,517. The governor noted that 111 of those new cases are in kids under age 18.
Governor Beshear also announced five new deaths, bringing that total to 1,124.
The positivity rate in Kentucky rose to 4.59% as of Wednesday afternoon.
