During Thursday afternoon’s coronavirus update Governor Andy Beshear announced 628 new cases of coronavirus in Kentucky, bringing the state total to 59,370. The governor noted that 76 of the new cases in Kentucky are in kids under age 18.
Governor Beshear also announced 11 new deaths, bringing that total to 1,093.
The positivity rate is at 3.82% as of Thursday afternoon.
