Feedback: Comments from Donors

We’re still struggling with some technical issues, especially on the 90.9 signal out of Hazard. Just so you know, we are working on diagnosing the problem that some listeners are reporting and then getting it fixed.  Thanks for your patience and please keep letting us know when you hear technical problems.

Following our recent spring fund drive, we still have a few messages we’ve yet to acknowledge, such as this one from listener Mary Ann.  Attached to a check, she wrote, “I give this in the misbegotten hope that it will help cut down the time that will be spent telling me how important WEKU Is to me and how much I enjoy it.  I know why I listen. “

She continues, “My wish is that you could tell us how much is needed and how much has been received at any one time. Ten callers an hour could mean Ten dollars pledged.” Mary Ann concludes, “Please don’t talk so much!”

Chris wrote, “I miss Michael Feinstein on Friday nights.  Please bring him back. And the all night classical music, except for the Friday night jazz, which I love, is a must for me.”

Catherine wrote, “I am especially fond of ‘On Point’ and ‘Wait Wait, Don’t Tell Me.” My husband is a fan of Car Talk, and even thr re-runs make him laugh out loud.”

Pat, from Frankfort, singled out ‘America’s Test Kitchen’ and ‘On Being’ and says, “I would like to lobby that you subscribe to the Diane Rehm Show and Science Friday.” Pat added appreciation for the clear signal in Frankfort on 106.7 saying, “I can even get it when I drive in to the underground parking lot at the Paul Sawyier Public Library. That is amazing.”

It’s amazing to us to hear your feedback.  Write to us at any time at WEKU@eku.edu or call 859-622-1657.  You can also post on the WEKU Facebook page or send a tweet @889weku.

Then tune in again next Monday at 6:31 and 8:31 am and 5:33 pm for Listener Feedback on 88.9 WEKU.
