Midway University’s fall enrollment stands at 1827. It marks the sixth straight year of enrollment growth at the Central Kentucky school.
The sixth year of enrollment gains at Midway saw its incoming undergraduate class at 292, topping last year’s mark of 283. Midway President John Marsden says the private school’s student gains come when many higher ed institutions are seeing declines.
The last tuition increase was in the 2018-2019 academic year. Vice President of Admissions and Athletics Rusty Kennedy attributes a lot of the enrollment growth to stable tuition rates and a strong retention rate.
Marsden also noted the support of donors allows Midway to award competitive financial packages for students while not impacting the sustainability of the tuition rate and net revenue for the university.
