Lexington's campaign to reduce domestic violence moves into the next phase

Domestic and Sexual Violence Prevention Coalition

Lexington’s public awareness effort to reduce domestic violence is entering a second phase in 2023. The “It’s Time to Get Honest About Domestic Violence” was unveiled last November. The first phase focused on knowing about the abuse. Conversations in various settings about what to do regarding domestic violence are now a priority. Stu Johnson speaks with Stephanie Theakston, coordinator of the Domestic and Sexual Violence Prevention Coalition.

Stu has been reporting for WEKU for more than 35 years. His primary beat is Lexington/Fayette government.
