Kentucky Coronavirus Cases Reach Second Highest Daily Total

Governor Beshear reported Tuesday a sizeable uptick in coronavirus cases.  His daily news release stated a total of 371 COVID-19 cases.  The governor says nine new deaths also occurred.

Governor Beshear said while numbers fluctuate due to reporting differences today’s numbers are cause for serious concern.  He goes on to say, quote, “We have worked too long and hard, and sacrificed too much, to squander the gains we have made in this fight.”

Beshear asked Kentuckians to re-commit to such preventive steps as hand washing, staying six feet away from others, avoiding crowds, and getting tested frequently.
