Spring-Like Weather Won't Last Long

Creative Commons

It will be partly sunny today across most of Kentucky and the high will flirt with 60 degrees. But rain is likely in many areas of the state during the overnight hours with a low in the upper 30s. Friday morning could see more showers but it could turn mostly sunny by the afternoon with a high of near 45, according to the National Weather Service.

We'll see more sunshine on Saturday with a high in the low to mid 40s.

But rain is likely to hit on Sunday in the afternoon. The high will be in the mid 50s.

Sunday night will likely see even more rain and maybe a thunderstorm as Kentucky finds itself on the backside of the system that will probably produce lots of snow in the Northeast. The mercury will hit the mid 40s and the chance for precipitation is 70 percent, the weather service said.

But spring will return on Monday with mostly sunny skies and temperatures in the 50s.
