UK President Provides Details Of Upcoming Furloughs

University of Kentucky officials have released details regarding employee furloughs as a way of addressing a projected $70 million revenue shortfall.

The low operation activity-administrative no pay status affects about 1700 employees, most all in health care related positions.  UK President Eli Capilouto says additional no pay status notices may be needed in the coming weeks in other units where work has been reduced because of measures taken to protect the community during coronavirus.
