Custom Framing Company Adding 240 Central Kentucky Jobs

A custom framing manufacturer, with an existing operation in Richmond, is expanding its central Kentucky footprint with plans to create 240 jobs.

Framebridge plans to open a new manufacturing facility in Lexington this month.  The Washington D.C. based firm already has a 100,000 square foot manufacturing center in Madison County.

The expansion is expected to help Framebridge meet demand after opening three new stores in Brooklyn and Atlanta.  Plans call for 120 manufacturing jobs at the new Lexington site by the end of the year.  A similar number of additional jobs is planned at the existing Richmond facility.

Lexington Mayor Linda Gorton said Lexington’s resilient economy is still welcoming new companies to town, despite the pandemic.  Richmond Mayor Robert Blythe also welcomed news of the local expansion
