A Profitable Use For Bernard Madoff's Old Clothes

STEVE INSKEEP, host:

One man whose financial information was hidden did not fare so well. Which takes us to our last word in business: seized and sold.

As felon Bernard Madoff sits in prison, a crafty fashion designer is making use of his old clothes. The company Frederick James obtained them at an auction held by the U.S. Marshal Service. The brand reuses luxury and vintage fabrics to make iPad covers.

Five hundred dollars will get you a cashmere Christian Dior cover made from an old Madoff sweater.
