Reports: Yemeni Military Drops Bombs; Syrian Forces Fire On Protesters

"At least three people are reported killed in the southern Syrian town of Dael after security forces opened fire to disperse a demonstration," al-Jazeera reports, saying it is getting that information from activists in Syria.

In Yemen, according to al-Arabiya TV (via Reuters), the air force has "dropped bombs on armed tribesmen who seized an area outside the capital Sanaa."

Bloomberg News adds that:

"Fifteen members of Yemen's Nihm tribe were killed in clashes with Republican Guards led by a son of President Ali Abdullah Saleh, as they tried to prevent an army regiment from reaching the capital, Sana'a, according to the opposition website al-Sahwa."
