About 25 % of our budget comes from listeners like you - people who want to support the classical music, news and entertainment found only on WEKU and streaming live on our website.

Do the music and news you hear help you get through the day? Then, why not become a day sponsor with a gift of $180. WEKU will let you choose your own day to honor a loved one, celebrate a special event, or recognize the work of non-profit organization. Matching Gifts
Your employer may offer a matching gift program in which your pledge to WEKU will be matched by company funds. Depending upon program policies, the matching amount can range from 50% to 200% of your individual contribution. See a list of companies that will match your gift to WEKU, or contact your human resources office.

To process your matching gift request, obtain a matching gift form from your employer. Complete your portion of the form and mail it to WEKU, 102 Perkins Building, 521 Lancaster Avenue, Richmond, KY 40475. We will complete our portion of the form and submit the request for matching funds to your employer.

If your company does not match your support of public radio or higher education, become an advocate for a matching gifts program. Your gift along with a matching amount from your employer works twice as hard for WEKU.

Planned Giving
You already support WEKU with an annual gift, but you want to do more for your favorite station. You want to make a gift meant to last.

Planned gifts may be the appropriate answer for you and your family. There are many advantages to making a planned gift ranging from significant tax benefits to the emotional gratification of helping WEKU continue its mission as a cultural resource for generations to come.

The most common charitable bequest is including WEKU in your will. The primary financial benefit to this is that charitable bequests can reduce estate taxes.
